Dumb Mode is a forecast (price prediction) product designed to predict the minute-by-minute fluctuations of an underlying asset's value. Settlement of Dumb Mode trades is calculated based on the asset's entry and expired price.
Dumb Mode is available on BNB Chain and Arbitrum networks.
Traders can toggle between [Perp] and [Dumb]. Make sure you are on Dumb Mode. Select the asset and expiration period. There are 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes and 1 hour expiration windows and the maximum ROI is 67%, 70%, 72% and 77% respectively.
When placing a bet ('Open Position'), choose the default percentage setting or input the principal amount manually.
Take note:
The expiration timer doesn't start when you click on the 'Open Position' button. Instead, the countdown commences when the transaction gets confirmed on the blockchain.
The entry price displayed on screen only serves as a reference. The actual entry price will be determined by the price point at the moment the transaction confirms on the blockchain.
When opening a long position:
- If the expiry price is greater than the entry price, you stand to make a profit. This may be subject to changes based on performance adjustment.
- If the expiry price is less than or equal to the entry price, you will lose your entire principal.
When opening a short position:
- If the expiry price is less than the entry price, you stand to make a profit. This may be subject to performance adjustments over time.
- If the expiry price is greater than or equal to the entry price, you will lose your entire principal.
There are no open/close fees in Dumb Mode. Instead, a 6% fee on the principal is charged on winning trades only. This fee is already accounted for in the ROI.
